Facilities

Executive Programs offerings are hosted at the Telfer Centre for Executive Leadership (CEL), our purpose-built facility dedicated to high-performance leadership programs. Located at the Sun Life Financial Centre in downtown Ottawa, our modern, professional setting creates an optimal learning environment and is fully equipped for meetings and learning sessions.

The Centre offers two spacious multi-purpose classrooms with the latest learning technology, small meeting rooms, and an open, spacious layout conducive to working and networking with peers.

Executives-in-Residence & Facilitators

Our Executives-in-Residence are successful professionals who bring their skills, expertise, and experience to our programs. The function of an Executive-in-Residence varies based on the individual, from advising & consulting, designing programs, facilitating, and overseeing programs.

Our Executives-in-Residence provide our participants with access to valuable insight into current affairs and expose them to their real-life leadership experiences in various fields of business, including Health Care, Public Service, High Tech, Family Enterprise, and Public Policy.

Ingrid Richter 

Ingrid Richter is an Executive in Residence at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa and Partner Threshold Associates. Her teaching, action research, and consulting work have three significant areas of focus: leadership development, facilitating complex, multi-stakeholder change processes and developing change agents so that they can more effectively engage in high-impact, complex change. Her recent client work focuses on leadership and international capacity development, supporting the sustainability of social innovation initiatives.

Ingrid co-founded the Canadian Organization Development Institute and designed and delivered leadership programs for the UN Staff College and the UNHCR. She has in-depth experience in provincial and federal governments, including as a Senior Fellow at the Canada School of Public Service and in senior roles in corrections, policing and public safety. In her spare time, Ingrid is an active volunteer at Synapcity (an Ottawa non-profit focused on developing citizen engagement). She loves to travel, poetry, cooking and learning to play the ukulele.

Jacqueline Rigg

Jacqueline Rigg has extensive experience working in executive positions in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors.  She brings over 35 years of leadership expertise and in-depth perspectives across multiple business environments, leading diverse teams and managing complex strategic situations.  Jacqueline brings a proven record of building consensus, securing cooperation, negotiating, and implementing recommendations consistent with organizational priorities.
 
She has held senior leadership roles in Human Resources, Talent Management, and Treasury Board Secretariat Defence Portfolio, including the procurement of major crown projects and a $1.5B Marketing Program at Bell Canada.

Throughout her career, championing workplace equity has been a passion and at the forefront of Jacqueline’s leadership. She has been a driving force behind workplace equity initiatives with roles spanning Agency Champion for Visible Minorities, Chair of the National Employment Equity and Diversity Advisory Committee, an inaugural leader of the Black Women’s Executive Network and member of the Black Executive Network.  Jacqueline is a Distinguished Fellow at the Canada School of Public Service and a Leadership Coach.

 

Our community of practice is also comprised of a large roster of facilitators and coaches. Our programs are designed & delivered by senior executives, industry experts, leadership facilitators, and certified coaches.
